Candlelight Vigil for the Victims of the Shooting at a Connecticut Elementary School
NYS Senator Eric Adams and community members will
hold a candlelight vigil in memory of the 26 lives that were lost in the mass
shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. Among the
26 victims, 20 were innocent children between the ages of 5 and 10 years old.
At this vigil,
Senator Adams and members of the community will
symbolically remember the lives that were lost, stand in support of all those
who were affected by this tragedy, and address the issue of gun violence in our
community and nation.
